Owner speaks : Betelem is my third boat. I bought it twenty years ago, a year before retiring. It is a very safe sailboat which, when properly adjusted, can sail fast while remaining comfortable. I have encountered difficult conditions, but I have never been in trouble. My first voyages, with my family, allowed me to discover the coast of Brittany, from the Île d'Yeu to Saint Malo, alternating between marinas and wild anchorages. As I went on more cruises, I fitted out Betelem for longer voyages, this time with one or even two crew members: England, Ireland, Scotland, where I went four times, the Faroe Islands, Shetland, Orkney, Norway, and finally, a magnificent trip to the Baltic Sea, Denmark, Sweden, and the Åland Islands, which belong to Finland, returning via northern Denmark. It was on my return from this last trip that I decided to part with Betelem, with great regret but wonderful memories.
