Easy, Ocean, or Performance? Offered in three versions, the Dufour 530 is a real chameleon. From ease of maneuvering while cruising to ultimate performance, it has been designed to adapt to all your needs.
The Easy version has been developed to offer the greatest ease of manoeuvring. It is equipped with two primary winches for the halyard control set, and mainsail sheets and self-tacking jib. The roof is thus free of any clutter for the greatest comfort of the crew.
In its Ocean version, the 530 has full hardware. The roof accommodates the winches and halyards and the mainsail carriage. Coaming primaries are intended for genoa manoeuvres and downwind sails. The mainsheet is controlled by German System and its two winches within easy reach of the helmsman.
In accordance with the rules of the Performance deck plans, the mainsail clew is fixed at the back of the cockpit and controlled by two winches “German Systemâ€. The coaming primaries control genoa and downwind sails. The halyard manoeuvres are well arranged on the roof.
The Dufour 530 features a revolutionary cockpit with unobstructed access steps to the side decks. Also, they separate the manoeuvring and seating areas for the greatest comfort of passengers. The sunbed is enhanced with the new rear bed and its storage box, a Dufour exclusive.
In its Performance version, the Dufour 530 does not cheat. It is over-equipped with a long mast and an extended boom coupled with a 2.80-metre keel with a lead bulb, clew at the back of the cockpit and a specific design.
The Dufour design clearly stands out for its natural light provided by the numerous deck hatches. The contrast of colours and materials provides a refined and elegant touch.
