With the Merry Fisher 1095, which was introduced in March 2018, Jeanneau is expanding the popular model series for the first time with a boat equipped with outboards in the ten-metre class.

Since the takeover of the Jeanneau shipyard in 1995 into the globally active Beneteau Group, the French company has great potential for innovation. While the popular model series of compact "Merry Fisher" cabin cruisers previously included boats in lengths between 8 and 29 feet, a 34-footer motorized with outboards has now been presented for the first time. Since "cruising on boats more than 34 feet in length has so far seemed incompatible with outboard motors," according to Jeanneau's advertisement, "the new Merry Fisher 1095 takes full advantage of the new possibilities offered by outboards." To underline this statement, a new hull was designed for the Pilothouse cruiser designed by the Polish design studio Centkowski & Denert.

At first glance, the new Merry Fisher 1095 is already an imposing appearance at the jetty, where some practical details immediately catch the eye. For example, the path on board leads either via the stern or through a 40 cm wide door in the starboard side of the ship, which is very practical for jetty longitudinal jetties. The twin engines with a total of 600 horsepower hint at enormous pulling power, and skippers will appreciate the starboard-side cabin exit. The 235 x 140 cm aft cockpit with a freeboard height of 80 cm is dominated by an L-shaped seating area with an "outer dinette", from which the 200 cm wide stern bench seat can be moved for convenient inspection of the engines. A door on the port side of the seating area allows access to the square stern platform on this side.

The way to the 190 x 180 cm sun lounger on the foredeck leads to starboard over a 30 cm wide side deck. This is surrounded by a 50 cm high bulwark, which is secured with railing and a handrail on the outer cabin roof. Coming from the aft cockpit, a sliding door opens the way to the continuously 190 cm high saloon, which is equipped with lightly tinted safety glass all around. Even the first impression of the interior, which offers a lot of freedom of movement, indicates the comfort of a full-blown touring boat. The starboard galley with 80-litre fridge and two-burner gas stove can be optionally upgraded with a hotplate, microwave and water heater.
