Former police boat of the WSP Schleswig Holstein "Probstei"
Location: Hamburg
The "Probstei", built by the former Aluminium Yachtwerft Wolfgang Franck (now Lübeck Yacht), was put into service in 1982 by WSP Schleswig Holstein. The area of operation was the Kiel Canal. Due to the nearby North Sea and Baltic Sea, the "Probstei" was built with very good rough water properties. After the takeover by the last owner in 1995, the boat was moved to Hamburg. In 1996 the "Probstei" was booted out. The hull and superstructure were completely sanded down and a primer in white was applied. Due to personal and health restrictions, the project has not yet been completed.
Due to the seawater-resistant aluminum body, there are no problems with rust or other weather-related damage. All attachments, lamps, the mast, the radar system and the circumferential butt edge are available. All anodes have already been replaced. All windows and deck hatches are tight. The steering position is clearly and functionally equipped. Furthermore, there is enough space for up to four people at the dinette. This can be quickly converted into a double berth. A pantry with cooker and sink as well as a lockable wet room are available. A hot water heater provides cosy warmth on cold days. There is a large room in the forecastle. This can be entered from the outside via a deck hatch or via the engine compartment. This is currently used as a warehouse for spare parts that are available in sufficient quantities. A conversion and conversion as a sleeping cabin is, due to the size and ceiling height, no problem.
The engine compartment, which can be accessed via the bow cabin or a ladder at the stern, is extremely spacious and has a good ceiling height. The two MAN marine diesel engines start immediately and without any problems.
There is a very extensive documentation, with documents, instructions for use, circuit diagrams, etc., of the ship since the keel was laid. A valuation report from August 2022 is also available. The boat is equipped with all accessories, spare parts, tools and much more. delivered.
The winter berth on land is paid for this season. Thus, it is possible to do all the necessary repairs and paint work until embarkation in spring. If necessary, the berth can be taken over by arrangement.
