Ranger Yachts Ranger 32 (1974) For sale

XBOAT ref :6246.I am selling my 1974 RANGER 32, which I dare to describe as "very beautiful", a 3/4 Tonner IOR designed by Gary MULL, winner of the 3/4 Ton Cup in Miami in 1974 and an excellent sailer in all conditions.
This very seaworthy boat, with a high ballast ratio, is in exceptional condition. Fully ready to sail and optimized, this truly beautiful example of a classic sailboat, which performs well in races (OSIRIS/ORC 14) and is very pleasant for cruising, refitted and perfectly maintained, will be replaced by a larger boat, with an enclosed cockpit, aimed at cruising and occasional living aboard in more Northern regions. I am not in a hurry to sell it yet, as its successor has not been identified yet.
L 9.90m, L 3.23m, TE 1.65m, light displacement 4.5T, lead ballast 2.03T. Monolithic polyester hull lacquered STERLING 2005, Teflon polish 2024. No osmosis, 6 layers VCtar treatment. Expertise 2024.
Rigging: Tri-radial mainsail DCX 2019 with cover. Tri-radial genoa DCX grey 2019 with UV protection stripe (Superb). Tri-radial solent DCX 2020 with UV protection stripe. Pentex grey genoa + mylar inter genoa in sailing condition. Asymmetric spinnaker Quantum in good condition. Symmetric spinnaker new. Standing rigging: ACMO revised in 2024, mainly in Dyneema.
Rigging: Winches BARIENT and LEWMAR revised 2024. Rigging completed with SELDEN genoa and mainsail cars. New ANTAL blocks. FACNOR 150 furler revised 2024.
Electronics: Raymarine I70S pack 2024. AIS transmit/receive. Raymarine EV100 autopilot 2023. 2 Contest 101 compasses, VHF ASN.
Navigation lights: LED Mantagua. Deck light 2024.

Engine Beta Marine 25hp 2005 in excellent condition, revised in 2024, new bronze stuffing box 2024, Eliptec Martec retractable racing propeller reconditioned 2024. No hour meter, but generally little used, port maneuvers themselves being most often carried out under sail.
Mooring: LEWMAR 1000W windlass, 20m stainless steel chain, Squareline 20m warp. Bombard coastal dinghy in bag 4 places to be revised. Inflatable dinghy.
Work to be planned in the future: Repair of the tear in the starboard bench backrest cushion. Replacement of the mainsail halyard, now worn out. Study of a new cunningham purchase, the current one lacking power. Antifouling for 2026. More details and pictures on xboat.uk
