XBOAT ref :6099.My Bénéteau Oceanis 43 for Sale
This Bénéteau Oceanis 43 for sale has been much more than just a sailboat to us — it has been our floating home for nearly 2 years. From the turquoise waters of Aruba to the coasts of Mexico, via Cuba and the Bermudas, and finally back to Europe, this Bénéteau Oceanis 43 has safely and comfortably carried us through thousands of nautical miles.
A Recognized Model for Its Comfort
It's a Beneteau Oceanis 43, a model recognized for its onboard living comfort, excellent sailing performances, and generous volumes, both on deck and below. We have equipped our Oceanis 43 to be fully autonomous for long-distance navigation and off-grid cruising.
Equipment and Autonomy
With 1000W of solar panels and 600Ah of lithium batteries, we have been able to stay at anchor for weeks without ever connecting to shore — powering fridges, electronics, lighting, and more, without any difficulty. Whether you work remotely or simply enjoy life at anchor, energy independence is guaranteed.
Engine and Maintenance
The engine is in excellent condition — only 1800 hours, with rigorous maintenance carried out according to the manufacturer's schedule. This year, we inspected the standing rigging and replaced the essential elements to ensure safety and reliability for offshore crossings. The sails and running rigging, on the other hand, are reaching the end of their life and will need to be replaced before undertaking new significant navigations — a point already taken into account in the asking price.
History of the Shipyard and the Model
The Beneteau Oceanis 43 was designed by Berret-Racoupeau and its interior by Nauta Design. It was first built in 2006 by Beneteau in France. This model marked a new era in the history of offshore cruising boats thanks to its design, comfort, and performance. It was produced until 2014 and has been very successful, notably for its use in charter under the name of Moorings 43.4. The Oceanis 43 is ideal for family or friends' cruises, offering generous space and exceptional comfort.
