The basis for building this steel sailing yacht himself was the owner's many years of professional and thus professional qualification as a metal and steel builder (master locksmith) and welding specialist. With Van de Stadt's construction plans and the delivery of steel parts as a kit, the self-construction was carried out in a hall. During construction or removal, the owner paid particular attention to the arrangement of the inspection openings and to the fact that all built-in parts were as easily accessible as possible, also with a view to later repairs.
