Swedish-owned since new, designed for a wonderful life in the Mediterranean, and now professionally inspected on land and in water prior to sale. An unusually spacious 55-footer where comfort and social areas are combined with documented excellent sailing characteristics.
Behind the More 55 is the renowned Italian designer Maurizio Cossutti. The hull is built with a focus on low weight, stiffness, and strength, featuring a deep keel, powerful rig, and a construction where the loads from the keel, mast, and rig are absorbed by a robust bottom structure. The result is clearly noticeable under sail. When Search Magazine test sailed the model in fresh to strong breeze, they recorded 12 knots with gennaker and 7.7–8.4 knots upwind. The boat was described as well-balanced, stiff, and reliable.
Onboard, you are greeted by a wide and open cockpit with plenty of space around the tables and easy passage between the dual helm stations. Aft, there is a large swim platform and an integrated dinghy garage – a well-thought-out solution that is particularly suitable for long days at anchor and life in the Mediterranean.
Below deck, the layout is designed for many to live comfortably together. The spacious saloon is directly connected to a large and well-equipped galley with good work surfaces, double sink, and generous fridge and freezer capacity. Five cabins and three toilets with showers offer great flexibility, and the partition between the two forward cabins can easily be removed to create a fantastic owner’s cabin.
This particular example has had the same Swedish owner since new and has been part of the same charter setup with Adriatic Sailing in Croatia throughout its lifetime. The owner has personally sailed the boat annually and has been meticulous with continuous service and maintenance. Having the boat within the same organization since delivery also provides a clear and coherent history.
For the sale, the seller has funded a comprehensive Swedish professional survey, conducted both on land and in the water by a surveyor affiliated with the Swedish Association of Marine Surveyors (BBR). The review covers both the structural and technical condition of the boat as well as the functionality of the onboard equipment. The results show a boat in good condition, with only minor normal deviations and maintenance points. For the seller, this has been a way to provide the next owner with as clear and secure a picture as possible of the boat’s actual condition. The broker is happy to share the full survey report with serious prospects.
After many years with the same owner, it is now time for More RELAX to leave the charter business and find a new owner in the private market.
The boat is offered excluding EU VAT and can be sold through the existing company. After quotation and agreement, there is also the possibility to purchase the boat with EU VAT settled.
The seller is motivated and welcomes a serious dialogue with the next owner.
