The Intermare 36 Fly is a comfortable family cruiser. She offers two cabins with double beds, with the master cabin located in the bow. On the port side there is a separate single shower. The main deck saloon has an L-shaped bench seat with hidden kitchenette opposite the bench seat to port. The inside steering position with single seat is located in front of the L-shaped bench seat in the saloon area to starboard.
As it is a manufacturer based in the Mediterranean, the exterior is quite generous, given the small dimensions of the 36 Fly. She offers a very spacious aft deck cockpit, a large swim platform with space for a dinghy and a comfortable flybridge on the upper deck. The fly area is very elegantly designed and offers a small C-shaped sofa, a sun lounger and a single-seater helm station.
Achievement
Intermare is known for its seaworthy boats, and the fact that this model uses traditional wave engines confirms this. With the Yanmar engines, Intermare is also very economical to operate and offers an optimal power-to-weight ratio as well as a very good power-to-consumption ratio.
As we know, this boat size is largely abandoned by most manufacturers, more precisely by the companies that built up a good reputation with this size in the 80s and 90s. If you take a closer look at the market, you will still find a handful of newcomers, but also some long-established manufacturers who consider this size to be extremely important for their production.
The Intermare 36 Fly offers a lot of advantages in form and function for a flybridge cruiser that is only 38 feet long. Gone are the days when owning a boat of this size was like owning a ship, but I'm sure that's still the case for people who switch to a larger boat! Today, this size plays less of a status symbol, so manufacturers compete in practical aspects and try to pack as much as possible into the available size. Of course, this has never been easy, and the competition is still as fierce as ever. The 36 Fly wins the game if you want a sporty-looking flybridge boat that doesn't look heavy: extended flybridge, extended platform, and spacious cockpit all say: I'm made for the Mediterranean, but that's not the only reason to check out this good-looking flybridge cruiser.
