Enedice is a 16.30-metre sailing yacht launched in 2003 by the prestigious JFA shipyard, whose quality of achievements is regularly acclaimed in the professional press. It was redesigned in 2016 and technically updated since 2023. This JFA 53 DS is an ocean-going unit recognized for its robustness, comfort and excellent seaworthiness. Built in aluminium with a teak deck, this monohull offers top-of-the-range performance for long-distance cruising.
Its raised square is unique on the market for a unit of this generation and allows you to have a view of its entire environment while remaining inside.
Equipped with a powerful 115 HP Nanni N4.115 shaft shaft engine with Maxprop propeller, it has a cruising speed of 7 knots and a maximum speed of 8.5 knots. Its large fuel capacity of 1,400 litres ensures a long range. This fuel autonomy is complemented by a water capacity of 1,400 litres.
Enedice is also completely self-sufficient in energy as it is equipped with a latest-generation generator (2023), solar panels and two wind turbines. Energy management is provided by a complete Victron system. It has 640 A service batteries in addition to two separate batteries for the engine and generator.
The boat has 3 cabins, 8 berths, 2 bathrooms and 2 electric toilets, with a good headroom of 2.10 m. The interior is particularly comfortable with reversible air conditioning, water heater, watermaker, fridge, freezer, oven, stove, Hi-Fi and television.
Very well maintained, this JFA has benefited from many recent improvements: 2024 standing rigging, 2024 rigid bimini, 2023 generator, 2025 solar panels, 2023 AIS, 2024 gennaker, 2023 staysail, 2023 batteries and generator, as well as 2022 survival revised in 2025.
The navigation equipment is complete: GPS, plotter, radar, navigation unit, autopilot with backup pilot, VHF, wind vane anemometer 2024 and AIS.
On the deck and manoeuvring side, the boat is equipped with a bow thruster, electric windlass, swim platform, davits, electric winches, bowsprit, spinnaker pole, lazy bag and lazy jack. Complete set of sails including full batten mainsail, spinnaker, tormentin, staysail, solent and gennaker on furler.
The hull is insulated above the waterline to allow navigation at the highest latitudes. Inspection of the seabed revealed the absence of any trace of corrosion of this painted hull, which was originally 5 layers of epoxy.
Enedice flies the French flag and its home port is Cap d'Agde. The buyer may choose to take back the berth.
Enedice is a unit ready to go on major sailings around the world combining safety, autonomy and comfort of life on board.
