In 1992, Paul Staneck designed the first Aquilon catamaran and improved in 1995 the finish and comfort at sea-passage. The boat gained in freeboard, length (35 cm added to the two coachroofs), headroom, but also a little weight (which made it a little lazier in light airs), and the Aquilon 800 was born.
