The Class40 OUFTI 40 is an offshore racing yacht designed by renowned naval architect Sam Manuard and built in 2011 by the reputable shipyard JPS Production. This Mach 40 was upgraded in 2018 to the V2 configuration, including major improvements to the structure, rigging, and ballast systems. Since then, it has benefited from a continuous optimisation programme. Fully compliant with the latest Class40 regulations, including 2024 standards, it offers a competitive and reliable racing platform.
A true pioneer of its generation, OUFTI 40 proved its potential from launch by winning the Class40 World Championship in 2011, followed by a second place in 2012. This impressive racing record reflects its high-performance capabilities. OUFTI 40 has remained active in the offshore racing scene, recently competing in the Quebec – Saint-Malo race.
Built using vacuum-infused fibreglass/epoxy sandwich construction with a PVC foam core, this Class40 ensures both durability and lightness. Its carbon rig (mast, boom, retractable rotating bowsprit) by Axxon Composites is paired with an extensive and up-to-date sail inventory (Techniques Voiles, Armor Voiles, Elvstrøm). Onboard electronics are top-tier, including dual NKE autopilot systems, full instrumentation, radar, AIS, GPS, and satellite communication via Fleet Broadband 150.
Today, OUFTI 40 represents an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to enter the Class40 circuit with a proven, competitive, and ready-to-race yacht.
