Cruising sailboat renowned for its seaworthiness, comfort on board and versatility. This boat is in a three-cabin version with two bathrooms, offering a pleasant living space and ideal for sailing with family or friends.
The boat is equipped with a teak cockpit, an electric windlass with a 10 mm chain and a 16 kg Delta anchor. The draft is 1.70 m, which allows easy access to many anchorage areas while maintaining good performance.
The engine has 850 hours and has been the subject of a particularly close maintenance with a complete overhaul carried out in 2026. On this occasion, the exchangers were replaced, the hydrolube ring and the gland were changed and all the through-hulls and valves were renewed. The batteries are new (2026) and the hot water tank was replaced in 2025. The fairing was also completed in 2026.
The boat is equipped with a bow thruster, an autopilot and a depth sounder. It does not have GPS to date.
As for the sailmaker, the mainsail is recent (2024) and in very good condition. The genoa is to be overhauled. The standing rigging was checked three years ago with the replacement of certain elements, which is a reassuring point for safe sailing.
This Sun Odyssey 40 is a healthy, tracked and ready to sail boat. Only survival needs to be serviced as well as the genoa for a complete upgrade.
