XBOAT ref :6013.The Wauquiez CENTURION 47 is a model designed by Ed Dubois and built by the Wauquiez shipyard. This sailboat is renowned for its performance, robustness, and elegance. It is well-suited for offshore sailing, particularly close-hauled.
Preparation and Improvements
The sailboat underwent a complete overhaul and major improvements between 2019 and 2024:
Recent work: replacement of the teak deck, change of the portholes, refitting of the standing rigging, and complete engine overhaul.
Modern equipment: new Fisher Panda generator (2024) and upgrade of the NKE electronics.
Interior Layout
The sailboat features three cabins: an aft owner's cabin, a forward double cabin, and a crew cabin. It also includes a saloon, a fully equipped galley, and two heads.
