The Grand Sturdy 550 AC Variotop® has been regularly improved and renewed over the years. The technology has been upgraded to a newer generation, with small details, but sometimes large parts, being replaced and improved. The exterior has received the latest SPH® hull shape for even better cruising characteristics and the interior is fresh, modern yet timeless. In addition, the latest generation of Variotops is a true "one touch" version with the latest electronic controls

First Variotop® in the SL series

The Grand Sturdy 550 AC Variotop now gets a real "sister" in the SL Series. With an overall length of 16.50 meters, this will be the Linssen 55 SL AC Variotop®. A particularly luxurious motor yacht. The design of this SL was also created in collaboration with KesselsGranger Designworks and this is clearly visible in the consistently implemented style. The sleek and modern look with contrasting shades of gray in the salon windows and Variotop wheelhouse is evident. The rising waterline and bow shape also provide the recognizable "Sports Luxury" look.

Like the Grand Sturdy 550 AC Variotop®, the 55 SL AC Variotop® also has the spacious stairs to the bathing platform on the port and starboard side of the transom. On the 55 SL, these steps are again just a bit more sophisticated. The wider bottom step and hand rail across the full transom and to the side also make it even safer. Combine that with the LED lighting in the steps, and even at night you can feel at ease going from the swim platform to the aft deck.

Interior
The Linssen 55 SL AC Variotop® has a layout with three cabins. The spacious aft cabin with spacious free-standing double bed, spacious toilet with sink and coupled shower room is your private domain. There is exceptional storage space in hanging and shelving cabinets and drawers around the bed. Right next to the bed is comfortable high-quality carpeting. You can relax here and watch TV from the bed. The corridor to the aft cabin offers even more storage space on both sides and room for an extra refrigerator, wine cooler, etc.
The forward cabin has the forward cabin and guest cabin on the port side. They share the toilet and shower in the corridor to the forward cabin. The shower also houses the standard washer/dryer combination.
The saloon is as luxurious and comfortable as you are used to at home. The pantry is fully equipped, including a 110-liter refrigerator, induction cooktop with four cooking zones, hood and microwave/oven/grill. The carbon fiber dashboard is finished with genuine leather and equipped with all the navigation equipment you need. The two Raymarine Axiom XL16 screens provide all the information you want while sailing. Combine this with the autopilot, triducer, tiller
steering, AIS receiver, VHF radio and powerful bow and stern thruster (3-phase, 400-volt) with proportional control and there is no water you could not navigate.
