This NEEL 45 sailed with the Swiss first owners for a sabbatical year in the Caribbean and successfully in the *Barbados 50 Race 2016*. Since spring 2017, this NEEL has been cruising in the Caribbean with the Dutch second owner, before he decided to give up sailing, and so the NEEL 45 has passed into the hands of the current German owner in 2021.
