XBOAT ref :5438.His owner tells us:
Designed by the duo Andrieu and Verdier, and built entirely with infusion, the Sun Fast 3300 benefits from exceptional strength and rigidity, with a significantly reduced weight. As a result, it not only offers excellent absolute performance but also benefits from an advantage under the IRC handicap rules, notably thanks to its simple keel without a bulb and its reasonable sail area.
On this racer, ergonomics are at the service of efficiency: spacious cockpit to facilitate movement, adjustment systems brought to the helm for solo passages. 5% faster than the 3200 version, the Sun Fast 3300 remains as stable and balanced on technical courses. Its hull was specially designed to increase its performance on reaching angles.
This 2020 model, rated 0.30, won the 2022 UNCL Atlantic Channel championship in crewed format and had to withdraw from the Transquadra due to the health of its Skipper/Owner. Its specific inventory guarantees superior performance compared to other SUN FAST 3300s in its category (Special preparation of the hull before launch, mainsail in ILX lighter than carbon sail, 3 x symmetrical spinnakers for better speed on reaching, code 5 of 60 m2 on furler, Karver 3-speed winches, combined GPS tracker Garmin large screen GPSMap 8416 on articulated arm, integrated WiFi and Nmea 183/2000, with solar panel for permanent charging...).
Offshore rigging, Carbon AG Mast, stay tension sensor, 2 x mainsails including 1 in ILEX, J1, J2, J3, ORC, light spinnaker, medium spinnaker, heavy spinnaker, storm jib, autopilot, Garmin navigation center, VHF RT 1050, Garmin 800 Class B/SOTDMA autonomous AIS transceiver, marine audio pack FUSION, ST Power 130 Amp charger regulator, dockside inlet with compact HF YPower 110/230 VAc/12 VDc charger 25 A/H, Cristec type 35 battery manager, Black-Contact 55Wc solar panel.
