Bluegame BG42 2021 – IPS 650 – 7kW Generator – Extended Autonomy – 2024/2025 Upgrades
CAP MED is proud to present this outstanding 2021 Bluegame BG42, a premium unit from the Italian Bluegame shipyard (Sanlorenzo Group), designed by Zuccon International Project. A true benchmark in the luxury open yacht segment, the BG42 stands out with its innovative 360° walkaround layout, protected cockpit and exceptional exterior volumes, delivering remarkable comfort both in the Mediterranean and coastal cruising conditions (CE Category B). Powered by 2 x Volvo Penta D6 IPS 650 engines producing 480 HP each and showing only 130 engine hours, this yacht combines strong performance, efficiency and impressive stability. The IPS pod drives paired with the Volvo joystick system provide extremely precise and effortless docking, further enhanced by a Side Power 75 bow thruster for total maneuvering control. The Interceptor trim system automatically optimizes running attitude and improves dynamic comfort at sea. Engines are serviced every two years and benefit from a recent software update. Energy autonomy is a major highlight, centered around a 7 kW onboard generator delivering independent 220V power at anchor or underway, allowing simultaneous use of air conditioning BTU 16000, refrigeration and onboard systems without reliance on shore power. The system is reinforced by 2 x 220W solar panels (2024), a Victron SmartSolar Bluetooth controller, Victron Bluetooth shunt, and a Victron Skylla 24V 80A three-output charger (2025), ensuring optimal energy management and secure battery charging. A 130L/h Idromar watermaker (2025) provides full freshwater autonomy for extended cruising. The new Dometic power management unit (2025) automatically supplies the three refrigerators in either 220V or 24V depending on the available power source, complemented by a Frigonautica stainless-steel outdoor freezer (2024). The deck is fully optimized for outdoor living with a hydraulic gangway and submersible bathing platform controlled via stainless Opacmare panels (2025), full Crystal cockpit enclosure (2024) with side sunshade panels, a 5 kW Webasto exterior heating system for all-season comfort, wireless Lewmar chain counter remote for safe anchoring, and electric winches both forward and aft for effortless mooring operations. The interior, redesigned by Studio Souchon — the same design firm collaborating with Sanlorenzo — offers a refined atmosphere with premium finishes, an electric adjustable saloon table, adaptive lighting, and a master cabin layout engineered to reduce rolling sensation thanks to its orientation, featuring elegant Alcantara details. Meticulously maintained and turnkey, this Bluegame BG42 is configured for extended cruising with enhanced autonomy and a level of equipment rarely found on the market.
