The yacht built by Peter Bieritz (11m Classic Sloop) and designed by J.H. Illingworth received an extensive refit in 2004/2005. Among other things, stripped hull removed (approx. 550m), keel removed, blasted, defective bolt replaced, keel plank renewed, new keel sole, various other work, approx. 580 hours by a boat builder
The Belmore I is a classic wooden ocean-going yacht of the 1960s with traditional lines, long keel and S-frame. It was designed in the 1960s as a robust cruising and racing yacht and combines classic elegance with seaworthy characteristics.
