Life on board
The spacious cockpit offers headroom of up to 2 m. Hardtop and roof hatch on starboard make it a sheltered focal point on board. From there, you can go directly to the large bathing platform with a four-step swimming ladder - practical for a swimming break or staying at anchor.
In the saloon, the large double bed becomes a sitting area if required. Built-in wardrobe, shelves and numerous lockers offer space for provisions and personal equipment. The windows are darkened with foil; the headroom is 1.85 m.
The Skagerrak is also equipped for longer stays: the kitchen offers a sink with cold water pressure pump, a Dometic 3000 two-burner spirit stove and many storage options. In the bathroom there is a manual seawater toilet and a washbasin with cold water pressurised water; here, too, the headroom is 1.85 m.
For excursions and longer trips
The combination of sleeping area, kitchen, bathroom, generous tanks and plenty of storage space makes multi-day tours on board easy to plan. Navigation and sonar technology support orientation and exploration of new areas; the electric anchor winch makes anchoring easier. The solar panel complements the on-board power supply.
So the day on the water can pass without a fixed schedule: head for a new bay, stay at anchor and end the evening on board.
Condition and maintenance
The Skagerrak is well maintained and has been owned by the current owners for ten years. She has been serviced every season and stored ashore in winter storage every year. The underwater hull has been painted every two years; osmosis is non-existent. The upholstery in the cockpit was renewed five years ago, the soft top in 2023.
