Owner speaks : As the second owner of this Contest 55, I can say that it has been much more than just a boat to me: it has been a true travelling companion. I have sailed extensively on board, on offshore cruises with beautiful stopovers, always with the same feeling of safety, comfort and enjoyment of the sea. Over the years, I have maintained and refurbished it without counting the cost, with the aim of preserving its original qualities while modernising it. Every improvement has been designed to enable long-distance sailing: the generator has been removed and completely overhauled, air conditioning has been installed for comfort in all latitudes, new high-performance sails (Hydranet) have been fitted, and the standing rigging has been completely replaced. It is a sound boat, ready to set sail again, which inspires confidence from the very first miles and is just waiting for a new owner to continue its story.
